Takkie Week
This is an annual event that is both a fundraiser and awareness event for children born with chronic illnesses and need palliative care from a very tender age. Everyone who takes part wears Takkies with Island branded shoe-laces and they donate to the organisation. The funds collected support the less privileged children.
Women’s High Tea
Celebrating Women’s Month in March, we host an event that brings women together to discuss and address the domestic, psychosocial, economic, and spiritual issues that affect women in our societies, and explore strategies for empowerment and support.
Survivor Men’s fair & Gentleman’s night
In celebration of June Men’s Month, our four branches host the Survivor Men’s Fair & Gentleman’s Night, a forum where hundreds of men gather to discuss and address domestic, psychosocial, economic, and spiritual issues affecting their lives.

Zimpapers Cancer Power Walk
For nearly a decade, Zimpapers has been a dedicated partner to Island Hospice and Healthcare in the battle against cancer. The annual Zimpapers Cancer Power Walk is a flagship event that aims to raise awareness about cancer and mobilize critical funding to support cancer patients in our community, with Island Hospice and Healthcare at the forefront of care and support
Awareness Campaigns
Island Hospice and Healthcare marks significant awareness months, including Breast Cancer Awareness in October, Prostate Cancer Awareness in November, and HIV Awareness in December, by undertaking nationwide outreach initiatives that provide screenings and educational talks to promote health awareness and empowerment
